Chillhouse
Project: Depop x Chillhouse partnership
Role: Naming, packaging copy, social copy
Platforms: Instagram, Meta, and TikTok
Creative Director: Allison Supron
OVERVIEW
Nails that actually pay
Cash App partnered with Chillhouse to create Cash in Hand, a limited-edition set of Chillhouse's award-winning press-on nails embedded with an RFID chip. One tap of your thumbnail opens Cash App's payment pad, making it the first manicure that can send money. The collab launched with a PR event in NYC and is available online at Chillhouse.
APPROACH
The whole idea behind the collab was being extra on purpose. The strategy was to take something people already love (a good set of nails) and turn it into a moment by giving it an unexpected function: sending money. That energy carried through everything from the product name "Cash in Hand," to the social rollout across Instagram and TikTok. Because when your nails can literally pay people, subtle wasn't the move.
