Proving that personal style can turn into real money with Olympic medalist Sha'Carri Richardson leading the charge.
Cash App partnered with Depop and Olympian Sha'Carri Richardson to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of Depop's sellers and show how fashion can be a tool for financial freedom. During the campaign, any Depop sale deposited into a Cash App account could be matched up to $100.
THE APPROACH
Gen Z doesn't separate style from their identity. What you wear is who you are. The strategy leaned into that, positioning Depop selling not as a side hustle but as a way to turn personal taste into real money, with Cash App as the bridge. That thinking shaped a three-episode social series featuring Sha'Carri Richardson, launched across Depop and Cash App's Instagram and TikTok, centered on self-expression and financial freedom.

Beyond the social series, I wrote the landing page for the campaign's $100 sale-match giveaway that walked new Depop sellers through how to set up their shop, link their Cash App, and start earning.
The page needed to make the promotion feel exciting without burying the steps on how to enter the giveaway.
